Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Liquid holdup has been determined by means of a self-designed method in an upflow cocurrent bubble column reactor for the purpose of providing an efficient reactor for continuous homogeneous hydrogenation of nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR). The experimental fluids were gaseous hydrogen and chlorobenzene solution of NBR, analogous to that of NBR hydrogenation in an industrial process, except without using a catalyst. The influence of the gas and liquid superficial velocities and pressure on liquid holdup under NBR hydrogenation conditions has been investigated. The results indicate that three flow regimes exist, depending on the operation conditions employed. A correlation of liquid holdup, which covers those three regimes, has been established with satisfactory agreement by means of a modified dimensionless drift flux against the relative flow velocity of gas to liquid.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
