Abstract
Tout phénomène social doit être envisagé à partir de la prise en compte de deux moments, institutionnel (macrosociologique) et situationnel (microsociologique). Les relations sociales s’inscrivent en priorité dans le second. Elles impliquent des définitions spécifiques partagées par les divers intervenants. Mais elles s’inscrivent aussi dans le cadre de rapports sociaux déterminés par le premier moment, et qui renvoient fréquemment à des systèmes de domination. Occulter l’existence d’un encadrement institutionnel des rapports de domination, tels que découlant de processus historiques traduits en idéologies, c’est faire de la sociologie un simple discours apologétique des choses telles qu’elles sont.
