Abstract
Quels sont les effets du localisme et du cosmopolitisme sur le comportement des administrateurs scolaires dans des situations de stress au travail? Ce problème fut élaboré dans le cadre des écoles secondaires de l’Ontario en utilisant un échantillon de 554 directeurs d’écoles. Un instrument de mesure fut utilisé pour identifier les degrés de localisme et de cosmopolitisme et le niveau de tension exprimée au travail. Il fut démontré avec certaines réserves que (1) les locaux supérieurs manifestent plus de tensions que les locaux inférieurs et que (2) les cosmopolites supérieurs manifestent également plus de tensions que les cosmopolites inférieurs dans des situations analogues de stress au travail.
