Résumé Parler d’un genre ( a fortiori d’une œuvre) sans parler du médium revient à laisser croire que ce dernier (ou cette dernière) est transposable sans déperdition, symbolique ou fantasmatique. Selon Pierre Fresnault-Deruelle, ce n’est évidemment qu’une vue de l’esprit. Il entend ici en donner une nouvelle fois la preuve via un parcours sur les transformations de la bande dessinée de 1950 à nos jours. L’exploration des mutations rituelles, poétiques et littéraires de ce « neuvième art » à travers le changement de régime communicationnel de la « scénariographie » en témoigne.
