Abstract
Une étude sur les pratiques sportives a été conduite dans le milieu associatif suisse comme illustration de l'hétérogénéité des parcours de vie de femmes et d'hommes âgés de plus de 55 ans. Les résultats montrent que ces différences sont à la fois synchroniques (les femmes pratiquent différemment le sport que les hommes au moment de l'enquête), mais également diachroniques (l'ensemble du parcours sportif atteste de ces différences). Les raisons en sont à la fois sociologiques, historiques et liées au vieillissement.
