Abstract
L'introduction présente le thème du numéro « Femmes et familles: sous le signe du paradoxe ». À l'aide de diverses contributions de la recherche féministe des 30 dernières années, il est d'abord montré comment cette réflexion novatrice a permis d'aller au-delà des opinions communément reçues (et fausses I) concernant « La Famille », en particulier celle de l'Occident contemporain. Une telle remise en question, qui accompagnait une transformation profonde des structures familiales, s'est répercutée sur le vécu des femmes, provoquant des sentiments et des attitudes parfois contradictoires. Cette brève rétrospective est suivie de la présentation des articles du numéro.
