Abstract
The increasing diversity of post-secondary populations requires counselors to develop culturally responsive methods of working with students. Counselors are encouraged to expand their conceptualization of factors associated with eating disorders and their views of students who may be at risk for developing them. Examples of specific student population issues are provided with suggestions for counselors to explore cultural influences on the development of eating disorders.
