Abstract
Abstract This paper presents a novel technique for detection of point landmarks in volumetric medical images based on a three-dimensional (3D) Phase Congruency (PC) model. A bank of 3D log-Gabor filters is specially designed in the frequency domain and used to compute 3D energy maps, which are further combined to form the phase congruency measure. The PC measure is invariant to intensity variations and contrast resolution and provides a good indication of feature significance in an image. To detect significant 3D point landmarks, eigen-analysis of a 3×3 matrix of second-order PC moments, computed for each point in the image, is performed followed by local maxima detection. Two different application scenarios in radiation therapy planning of the head and neck anatomy are used to illustrate the feasibility and usefulness of the proposed method.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from it
