Abstract
Une inscription de 193 ap. J-C. (CIL VI, 1585b) rapporte une permission impériale donnée à Adrastus, procurateur de la colonne de Marc Aurèle, de construire une grande maison derrière la colonne. Le texte mentionne que deux charretées de bois d’œuvre doivent être données à Adrastus cum pontem necesse fuit compigni . Les commentaires des éditeurs proposaient de comprendre ce pons comme un genre de passerelle, de trottoir ou de passage pour piéton. Nous pensons au contraire que ce pons n’a rien à voir avec la colonne : ce serait plutôt l’échafaudage de bois nécessaire à la construction de la maison d’Adrastus.
