Résumé Cette recherche questionne la place de l’intuition dans les processus de décision. Elle s’appuie sur une méthodologie de recherche-action menée auprès des Equipes Médico-Sociales [EMS] de cinq conseils généraux. Bien que l’intuition favorise une prise de décision rapide appuyée sur des acquis antérieurs et économe en attention demandée au décideur, nos observations à la suite de travaux antérieurs montrent également des situations où le passage par l’intuition n’est pas sans problèmes. Nous ouvrons donc sur la manière d’organiser une réflexivité individuelle et collective pour faire en sorte que les décisions intuitives soient bénéfiques à l’action sociale.
