Abstract
Des enquêtes réalisées au cours de deux décennies (1960 et 1990) laissent entrevoir certaines continuités dans la manière dont deux cohortes de jeunes concevaient le phénomène religieux au même âge. L'attitude générale par rapport à la religion est passée d'une recherche d'authenticité à une religion essentiellement personnelle. Les fondements de l'éthique ont éclaté au-delà des exigences de la raison en une multitude de systèmes de valeurs tout en conservant les valeurs chrétiennes d'ouverture à autrui bien présentes. La conception de la mort, plus que la représentation de Dieu, a subi l'influence des nouveaux courants de pensée.
