Abstract
La singularité de la presse people est indissociable des photographies qui s’y bousculent. Elles en constituent le vecteur informatif et la source des déploiements narratifs. Les clichés de paparazzis y ont souvent valeur de « flagrants délits » visuels, recyclant à leur façon la vocation documentaire de la photographie. L’article s’interroge donc sur la manière dont la photo people offre au lecteur des instants volés ou concédés de la vie des célébrités. Exaltant leur monde doré tout en surlignant leurs faiblesses, cette iconographie répond à un dispositif complexe de mise en proximité.
