L’hétérogénéité et la complémentarité sont les nouvelles exigences et aspirations du monde actuel. Dans cette perspective, on peut comprendre l’arrivée et le succès des télénovelas latino-américaines dans la plupart des pays africains. À l’instar du Cameroun, les télévisions répondent avec satisfaction, dans ce sens, à la demande et au besoin de la société. L’impressionnant accueil de ces télénovelas est la manifestation de la volonté de nos sociétés de s’ouvrir au monde, de favoriser des changements interculturels ou d’échapper, bien que de manière éphémère, aux forces asphyxiantes. A la différence des séries télévisées en provenance de la France et des pays anglo-saxons, récemment ce sont les télénovelas latino-américaines les plus appréciées. Le phénomène – très curieux et intéressant - influe considérablement sur le quotidien des populations.
