Abstract
En 2010, Ève-Lyne Biron, présidente de Biron Groupe Santé, est sélectionnée dans le top 100 des femmes les plus influentes du Canada par le Réseau des femmes exécutives (Women’s Executive Network). Quinze ans plus tôt, à l’âge de 30 ans, Ève-Lyne Biron succédait à son père à la présidence de Laboratoire médical Biron, une petite entreprise familiale québécoise. Diplômée d’un programme de golf-études aux États-Unis, elle avait tourné le dos à une carrière prometteuse de professionnelle du golf pour reprendre sa place dans l’entreprise comme responsable du marketing auprès de son père et de ses deux sœurs cadettes. Sous sa présidence, l’entreprise connaît une croissance soutenue et, de famille en affaires, Biron Groupe Santé devient une importante entreprise à propriété familiale. Son style de leadership est fortement influencé par son expérience de golfeuse de haut niveau.
