Abstract
Résumé La presse et les enquêtes mentionnent régulièrement des cas d’abus interrogeant l’éthique de la rémunération des dirigeants d’entreprise. D’abord, cet article confronte sept mythes véhiculés sur la rémunération des dirigeants avec les faits émanant de l’expérience et des études. Ensuite, il traite des conséquences négatives tant du point de vue sociétal que du point de vue organisationnel liées au fait de persister à alimenter ces mythes. Finalement, il présente des recommandations afin que la rémunération des dirigeants ait des retombées optimales à long terme tant pour les parties prenantes des organisations que pour les sociétés.
