Résumé L’activisme urbain à Montréal s’inscrit dans le sillage historique des luttes urbaines avec l’enjeu du droit à la ville. L’héritage des luttes urbaines s’exprime encore aujourd’hui avec les mobilisations pour le logement mais une diversification des objets de mobilisation se manifeste avec un déplacement vers les questions environnementales, d’espace public et d’art dans la ville. Les pratiques militantes évoluent avec l’institutionnalisation des mouvements sociaux mais aussi l’avènement d’un militantisme plus distancié faisant plus de place au numérique.
