Abstract
Résumé La logistique hospitalière est un ensemble d’activités de conception, de planification et d’exécution permettant l’achat, la gestion des stocks et le réapprovisionnement des biens et des services entourant la prestation de services médicaux aux patients. Bien que discrètes, ces activités remplissent un rôle essentiel dans une offre de soins performante. Cet article propose la description et l’analyse de cas d’établissements, l’un français et l’autre québécois, présentant deux portraits distincts de la logistique hospitalière. L’analyse produite ne vise pas à mettre en opposition les deux réalités mais à dégager un certain nombre de constats pouvant aiguiller les décideurs sur des avenues de solutions à certains défis de gestion dans le secteur de la santé.
