Abstract
Résumé Le poète Gilles Hénault intervient dans la sphère des arts visuels du Québec à plusieurs titres: comme muséologue, critique d'art et communicateur (Société Radio-Canada). En outre, il invite, à maintes reprises, des artistes en arts visuels à illustrer ses recueils de poésie. On tente de saisir ici la spécificité de l'apport de ce poète au champ artistique. L'apport muséologique1 de Gilles Hénault est analysé selon les cadres théoriques de Howard S. Becker2 et de Pierre Bourdieu3 - le premier situe l'individu dans la structure d'un 'réseau de coopération^ et le second prend en compte la "position' socioprofessionnelle de Gilles Hénault. La contribution de celui-ci en tant que critique d'art est abordée par une analyse de contenu de ses textes publiés en particulier dans Vie des arts. Les archives de la SRC nous informent sur les rôles d'inter-vieweur et d'invité qu 'assume le poète.
