Abstract
This review examines Race to Equity: Disrupting Educational Inequality, which illustrates the journey of equity workers at the Toronto School Board from the 1970s to the 1990s and demonstrates the fragile nature of equity work even in the most progressive of institutional settings. This review focuses on the cautions and gains for LGBT youth as school board workers interested in equity issues attempt to create inclusive and safe learning environments.
