The article reveals the peculiarities of training of specialists of helping professions. Conducted a formativeexperiment, which reflects the received data. Developed pedagogical conditions of formation of professionalcompetence of specialists of helping professions: special, communicative and personal. Selected pedagogicalconditions promoting the formation of professional competence: the course, the ongoing practice during theentire period of study at the University with clarification and elaboration of goals, objectives and content oftraining as an innovative method of extracurricular work with students of 1st-4th courses with a professionalorientation.
