Abstract
<titre>Résumé</titre>Cet article examine le rôle que joue le pouvoir dans le processus et la dynamique de médiation. Plus précisément, il se penche sur les mesures qu’un médiateur peut prendre pour équilibrer les pouvoirs entre les parties à une médiation tout en respectant la structure hiérarchique en place dans l’organisation. Il y est suggéré que si les exigences de la médiation ne tiennent pas compte des réalités de la structure organisationnelle, les parties risquent de s’engager dans une épreuve de force une fois à l’extérieur du contexte de la médiation.
