Abstract
Résumé Connaître la manière dont les jeunes se représentent et utilisent les médias électroniques, mais surtout la manière dont ils se les approprient et le contexte dans lequel ils le font, constitue un enjeu stratégique pour l’éducation. La recherche Mediappro conduite en Europe et au Québec en 2006 montre que les 12-18 ans ont des représentations de ces nouveaux médias souvent ambiguës et des usages encore mal maîtrisés. Elle pointe notamment en quoi le fossé entre les pratiques à l’école et celles à la maison renforce des appropriations réelles mais parcellaires, fort éloignées du potentiel considérable de ces médias.
