Abstract
Il y a une grande difficulté pour la presse à identifier et à diffuser une information intelligible concernant la problématique de l'eau et plus généralement de l'environnement. Ce constat universel, est la conséquence du caractère technique du vocabulaire utilisé, des divergences d'appréciation des experts sur la situation actuelle ou à venir, du manque de volonté politique des gouvernants pour promouvoir des changements profonds dans les modes de vie, de la redondance des déclarations et propositions des grandes conférences internationales qui se succèdent.Dans ce contexte, le journaliste à une mission importante : développer une citoyenneté responsable, par la recherche d'une information intelligible et ciblée, par la promotion d'un certain nombre de valeurs, par leur diffusion renouvelée. Informer ne peut que contribuer à réduire les problèmes posés par la pénurie planétaire de l'eau, Comment y parvenir ? C'est l'un des objectifs de ce colloque sur l'éducation à une éthique de l'eau, car informer c'est éduqué.
