Abstract
En nous appuyant sur une approche réunifiée du public et du « privé », nous montrons que la participation politique et syndicale des femmes détermine une répartition du travail domestique, des partages de territoires personnels, familiaux et conjugaux ainsi que des ajustements et des redéfinitions du masculin et du féminin au sein du couple. Elle dépend réciproquement de ces différents facteurs. Entre le modèle idéaltypique du couple fissionnel et celui du ménage à trois, nous explorons, sous l’angle des rapports sociaux de sexe, les facteurs qui freinent cette participation, pour le premier type, et ceux qui la favorisent, pour le second, en dégageant les dynamiques contradictoires en présence.
