Abstract
La qualité de l’interaction entre les différentes ethnies d’une école multiculturelle dépend en grande partie de la distance sociale qu’elles entretiennent les unes vis-à-vis des autres. Cette relation devient particulièrement problématique quand des élèves immigrants d’une minorité ethno-culturelle tentent de s’intégrer à la culture dominante. Les résultats de recherche exposés dans cet article démontrent combien l’attitude d’acceptation des membres des deux ethnies de l’échantillon tend à s’opposer. Les élèves de la majorité culturelle maintiennent une grande distance sociale pendant que ceux de la minorité expriment un accueil évident.
