Abstract
En dépit d’un monopole sur la délivrance des médicaments, le pharmacien d’officine est très inquiet des changements qui s’opèrent sur son marché. Ceux-ci accentuent l’ambiguïté entre les rôles de professionnel de santé et de commerçant qui caractérise ce métier. Cette recherche montre que, face à ces changements, c’est la nature des interactions que ce professionnel entretient avec ses patients/clients qui oriente la construction de son identité de métier et donc la manière dont il affronte cette ambiguïté de rôles. Il est constaté que les officines étudiées sont très différentes dans l’appréhension de ces rôles impliquant une construction différente du métier.
