Abstract
La présente étude s’intéresse aux taux de rendement réalisés et anticipés des cotisants au Régime de rentes du Québec de 1968 jusqu’en 2056. Pour ce faire, des agents pour chacune de ces années ont été constitués. Une décroissance constante des rendements s’observe au cours de la période. Les taux de rendement de la première génération de cotisants sont nettement supérieurs à ceux des générations subséquentes principalement en raison des modalités de mise en place des prestations. Le relèvement des taux de cotisation pour les générations subséquentes joue aussi un rôle dans la réduction du taux de rendement observé mais, contrairement à la croyance populaire, l’importance de ce facteur est beaucoup moins grande.
