L'atelier interculturel de l'imaginaire (AII) est un lieu de circulation de la parole et des imaginaires. Il a merg progressivement partir des situations concrtes de recherche et intervention auprs des personnes immigrantes et rfugies, de formation des professionnels de l'intervention, de formation des tudiants universitaires, notamment des tudiants des trois cycles en ethnologie de l'interculturel, de la formation des matres au secondaire et, plus rcemment il a t expriment pour la dynamique en groupes interculturels parmi les tudiants internationaux. Dans cet article, aprs avoir prsent l'mergence et le fonctionnement de l'atelier interculturel de l'imaginaire, j'en illustrerai le droulement dans deux contextes distincts, d'abord celui de l'accompagnement des personnes immigrantes et rfugies dans la ville de Qubec, ensuite celui de l'accompagnement des tudiants internationaux lors de stages sminaires interculturels en Chine.
