Im Jahr 2001 las ich einen Beitrag in der Zeitschrift Physical Therapy mit dem Titel Challenging Myths in Physical Therapy [ 5 ]. Darin kritisierte Susan Harris, Professorin an der Universität von Vancouver, dass Physiotherapeuten ganz im Widerspruch zur wissenschaftlichen Evidenzlage die Kraniosakraltherapie bei einer Vielzahl von Beschwerden als Behandlung 1. Wahl einsetzen. Heute - 6 Jahre später - hat sich die Beweislage nicht zugunsten der Kraniosakraltherapie geändert. Nichtsdestotrotz wachsen Nachfrage und Angebot in diesem Bereich stetig.
