Abstract

L'être juif chez Celan est d'abord un être-langage, un mode d'être du langage et mode d'être dans le langage. Il se décline comme un exercice éthique, comme un geste, comme l'accent dans une langue étrangère. Car la poésie de Celan s'écrit sur un horizon historique. Le silence qu'elle traverse et qui la traverse n'est pas métaphysique, il provient d'un réel de cendres et de fumées. Le poète est celui qui y entend les voix éteintes, qui leur redonne une mémoire et interdit leur dispersion. Le travail sur le mot et la lettre est ici examiné afin de tenter de dégager une lecture non hermétisante de la poésie celanienne et de montrer qu'elle répond essentiellement à une fonction de survivance.
