Abstract
L’article porte sur l’accompagnement éducatif des jeunes de 16-20 ans dans des programmes d’éducation des adultes. Il interroge d’abord le discours sur l’accompagnement. Les auteures y présentent ensuite une modélisation de l’accompagnement éducatif pour les jeunes à l’éducation des adultes à travers un schéma où se croisent deux axes : l’axe relationnel et l’axe des contenus. L’article fait également état des différentes postures pour l’enseignant ou l’enseignante qui accompagne. Enfin, à partir d’un corpus de six enseignants faisant partie d’une recherche-action entreprise depuis quelques années, certaines observations sont exposées afin d’illustrer la spécificité de l’accompagnement éducatif des jeunes québécois en processus de raccrochage scolaire dans un centre d’éducation aux adultes ou dans un organisme communautaire autonome.
