Abstract
Cet article aborde la collection de « livres parlants », creee aux Editions Des femmes, sous plusieurs approches : aussi bien en termes de marchandisation des biens symboliques que de creation esthetique, de mediation culturelle et de reception. Tout d’abord, la collection s’integre dans une politique constituee de motivations ideologiques et d’une strategie editoriale precises de la part de la maison d’edition. De plus, le procede de la « mise en voix » et le support de la cassette audio font du livre-cassette un objet qui peut se revendiquer comme un acte artistique en tant que processus plastique specifique de transformation d’une matiere premiere - l’ecrit - en oral. Enfin, si cet objet de consommation litteraire en quete de legitimite se heurte aux resistances des instances culturelles etablies, il ne fait que reproduire les luttes pour la reconnaissance auxquelles est soumis tout nouvel entrant dans ce champ.
