L’auteure présente ici le texte remanié de la conférence qu’elle a donnée dans le cadre du Colloque organisé par la revue Filigrane , le 16 novembre 2013 : « Qu’est la psychanalyse devenue ? ». En référence à son expérience de près de 30 ans de travail comme psychologue, puis psychanalyste, oeuvrant dans un hôpital psychiatrique pour enfants et adolescents, elle aborde la difficulté, partagée par bon nombre de cliniciens, de pratiquer avec une orientation psychanalytique dans une institution qui ne fait que peu ou pas de place à cette approche. Sa réflexion l’amène à entrevoir ce qui lui semble le plus important de préserver pour continuer à faire un travail psychanalytique dans les milieux institutionnels. Sa réponse à la question posée par Filigrane se décline ainsi en six points particuliers : la perspective temporelle, l’écoute de la réalité psychique, la menace faite à la langue psychanalytique, l’investissement du clinicien, la question de la résistance et de la survivance, et enfin, la transformation du pessimisme.
