Abstract
Cet article présente l’état d’avancement des travaux menés sur le vocabulaire du français du Québec par l’équipe de Sherbrooke. Le contenu de cette banque lexicologique est brièvement décrit : les corpus sociolinguistiques du Québec, le corpus de textes oraux publiés et le corpus de textes littéraires. La méthodologie (linguistique, statistique et informatique) développée depuis les années 1970 est succinctement présentée. Les auteurs terminent leur exposé en décrivant et en commentant les étapes suivies pour l’élaboration de leur banque linguistique constituée essentiellement d’une base de données textuelles et d’une base de données linguistiques. Ils présentent enfin les étapes du travail à venir.
