Abstract
Globalization is a growing concern within North American theological education. It is leading some scholars to re-examine both Christian theology and the way it is taught in the light of increasing recognition of the larger global context within which they are situated. Central to this enterprise is a discussion of how theology and theological education can or should respond to issues raised by those both within and outside the Christian tradition arising from the changing demography of Christianity. Further fuelling the discussion are non-Christian religions in North America and the new political realities of the postcolonial context of many non-Western countries.
