Au nombre des caractristiques de la production narrative contemporaine (plus exactement celle des deux dernires dcennies), le recours marqu aux formes de l'intime et, plus largement, la prise en charge du rcit par une parole subjective, celle d'un ou de multiples je, sont frquemment signals par la critique 1 . Par ses hsitations mmes, par ses glissements et manifestations polyphoniques, la voix narrative se fait ainsi envahissante. Plus discrte, la narration omnisciente (entendons ici, provisoirement, un narrateur htrodigtique, non reprsent, focalisation zro, pour reprendre la terminologie de Genette) occupe toujours une partie du territoire narratif rcent, soucieux d'invention formelle. C'est cette catgorie de textes, la voix narrative tnue, que veut aborder notre tude.
