Résumé Dans le contexte actuel, il faut posséder des compétences en intervention et en recherche, afin de pouvoir évaluer et ajuster sa pratique en réponse aux besoins sociaux en constante évolution. Cela exige une formation initiale et continue qui intègre la recherche à l’intervention. Certains obstacles rendent difficile une telle intégration, mais la recherche en collaboration permet de les atténuer. Nous présentons cette approche à l’aide d’un projet portant sur le vécu des mères d’enfants ayant un handicap invisible. Celui-ci a favorisé des apprentissages mutuels qui ne peuvent se réaliser sans certaines conditions de formation, de recherche et de pratique. Nous faisons ressortir ces dernières, tout en identifiant les enjeux qui les rendent de plus en plus difficiles à assurer.
