Abstract
Résumé Peu de recherches ont examiné la variabilité des antécédents du capital marque au travers des différentes cibles de communication. Dans le cadre de cette recherche, les auteurs examinent la différence entre les effets exercés par les traits de la personnalité et les émotions sur le capital marque lorsqu’ils sont testés respectivement auprès des employés et de vrais clients d’une banque. Les résultats montrent que les émotions représentent de bons prédicteurs du capital marque et qu’elles sont beaucoup plus influentes que la personnalité de la marque chez les employés. En général, les routes affectives semblent être plus prédictives du capital marque que les routes évaluatives, et tout particulièrement dans le cadre d’une communication interne.
