Abstract
Cet article décrit les procédures de collecte et d’analyse de données utilisées dans le cadre d’une recherche en service social s’intéressant à mieux comprendre l’expérience du passage à la vie adulte en contexte de vulnérabilité. L’approche d’analyse par théorisation enracinée a permis de faire le pont entre une perspective théorique du parcours de vie et une modélisation des trajectoires de passage à la vie adulte priorisant la parole des personnes concernées. L’idée centrale dégagée suggère que le sens du passage à la vie adulte, pour les personnes rencontrées, se révèle dans le rapport entretenu avec la société, les autres et soi-même. L’analyse par théorisation enracinée s’est avérée une méthode cohérente avec notre perspective de découverte et de meilleure compréhension des phénomènes humains.
