La (re)construction identitaire à la croisée de la reconnaissance et de la subjectivation

Abstract
Notre article vise à dégager un espace de pensée qui permette de distinguer les exigences liées à la reconnaissance de celles associées à la (re)construction identitaire en partant du débat entre Nancy Fraser et Axel Honneth sur les modalités de reconnaissance et de justice qui sont en jeu pour des groupes « exploités » ou « dominés » luttant soit pour une redistribution de la richesse plus juste, soit pour une meilleure reconnaissance. Ce débat montre les limites d’une théorie de la reconnaissance pour les groupes dominés dont l’identité a été fragilisée à la suite d’événements historiques qui visaient leur assimilation culturelle. Nous tenterons de dégager un espace de pensée qui nous aidera à envisager la (re)construction identitaire de ces groupes en nous appuyant sur le cas des Acadiens et des Autochtones.
