Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

A combined mass and particle identification fit is used to make the first observation of the decay ${\overline{B}}_{s}^{0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{D}_{s}^{\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}}{K}^{\ensuremath{\mp}}$ and measure the branching fraction of ${\overline{B}}_{s}^{0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{D}_{s}^{\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}}{K}^{\ensuremath{\mp}}$ relative to ${\overline{B}}_{s}^{0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{D}_{s}^{+}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{\ensuremath{-}}$. This analysis uses $1.2\text{ }\text{ }{\mathrm{fb}}^{\ensuremath{-}1}$ integrated luminosity of $p\overline{p}$ collisions at $\sqrt{s}=1.96\text{ }\text{ }\mathrm{TeV}$ collected with the CDF II detector at the Fermilab Tevatron collider. We observe a ${\overline{B}}_{s}^{0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{D}_{s}^{\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}}{K}^{\ensuremath{\mp}}$ signal with a statistical significance of $8.1\ensuremath{\sigma}$ and measure $\mathcal{B}({\overline{B}}_{s}^{0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{D}_{s}^{\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}}{K}^{\ensuremath{\mp}})/\mathcal{B}({\overline{B}}_{s}^{0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{D}_{s}^{+}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{\ensuremath{-}})=0.097\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.018(\mathrm{stat})\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.009(\mathrm{syst})$.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
