The 1001 participants had noncontrast computed tomography (CT) for coronary calcium scoring, and 759 had coronary CT angiography to assess coronary artery plaque.After adjustment for risk factors for coronary artery disease, HIV-infected men had a greater prevalence of coronary artery plaque on CT angiography than uninfected men (prevalence ratio [PR], 1.13; P = 0.004).
