Abstract
Quinze, vingt mille lobbyistes, peut-être plus, sont à Bruxelles, parfois à Strasbourg, ou y vont régulièrement pour rencontrer députés européens et membres de la Commission. Depuis juin 2011, afin de réglementer et organiser ces pratiques, souvent contestées, les sociétés et organisations désirant s’adresser aux parlementaires sont invitées à s’inscrire sur un registre de la transparence. Une réforme qui a rencontré un évident succès, puisque 5 671 organisations ou groupes d’intérêts figurent sur ce document. Mais l’inscription reste facultative et certaines grandes entreprises n’ont pas souhaité y figurer. Le lobbying, souvent critiqué, joue pourtant sa crédibilité sur la transparence, notamment en matière de santé. L’obligation d’inscription sur ce registre n’est plus qu’une question de temps, estiment députés et observateurs. Reste qu’il convient désormais de faire vite.
