On base of the main decomposition approaches for CS, the decontamination effect on CS stimulant with potassium permanganate solution was studied through the orthogonal tests and single factor tests. In this paper, four factors including concentration, temperature, time and dosage of catalyst were relevant with conversion rate, which finally reached extremum on the conditions that concentration is 0.015%; reaction temperature is 30°C; Catalyst amount is 2% of reactants; reaction time is 10min. Both concentration of potassium permanganate solution and temperature were regarded as the main factors, while reaction time and dosage of catalyst were both the secondary factors.
