Abstract
Les fans de superhéros qui descendent dans les rues étatsuniennes en se déguisant comme leurs modèles ne s’inscrivent pas dans une forme de mimétisme comportemental. Une enquête sociologique menée par l’auteur à partir d’entretiens personnels effectués et d’un suivi des sites Web et des forums sur Internet montre au contraire que la référence aux fictions joue sur un plan formel beaucoup plus que comportemental. Leur attirance pour ces costumes, et leur médiatisation, révèle leur insertion dans une nouvelle culture de la célébrité, typique d’une modernité seconde ou réflexive.
