Abstract
Dans une société libérale, pourquoi l’échange marchand ne tend-il pas à se généraliser en tant que mode normal de l’échange sexuel ? À tout le moins, pourquoi la professionnelle du sexe ne peut-elle utiliser l’idéologie propre aux professions libérales : « Tout en étant (très bien) payés, les professionnels affirment exercer leur profession dans un esprit de service » ? Une comparaison entre le métier de prostituée et la profession de psychanalyste permet de suggérer quelques pistes de réflexion sur ce thème.
