Abstract
The Economist de Londres soutenait que la biothique constituait l'une des activits dont la croissance tait la plus rapide. Depuis, l'affirmation ne s'est pas dmentie. Quel que soit le vocabulaire utilis pour dcrire les contours de la biothique -thique mdicale, thique biomdicale, thique des soins de sant, thique clinique, thique de la recherche et j'en passe -, la demande demeure toujours forte et l'expansion considrable. Au point que certains en viennent parfois souhaiter la professionnalisation du champ afin de mieux encadrer le travail de ces nouveaux spcialistes que l'on se plat nommer thiciens et biothiciens.
