Abstract
L'auteure présente brièvement certaines perspectives qu'offre la théorie psychanalytique au sujet de la présence du père auprès de son enfant d'âge pré-oedipien. Les points de vue présentés (post-kleinien, D.W. Winnicott, lacanien, F. Dolto) cherchent à rendre compte de l'usage spécifique qu'un bébé peut faire d'un père présent auprès de lui. Quelques brèves vignettes tirées de la pratique clinique de l'auteure dans le cadre d'un accueil enfants-parents et de sa pratique en bureau privé illustrent le propos. La question paternelle est située dans le contexte des réalités sociales actuelles et de la crise de la parentalité au moment de la transformation du couple en famille lors de la naissance de l'enfant.
