Abstract
Cet article s’intéresse aux projets d’avenir des jeunes et tout particulièrement à la manière dont ils entrevoient leur future famille. Il présente les résultats d’une analyse réalisée à partir de données d’entretien sur les valeurs des jeunes Québécois et Québécoises. Cette analyse révèle que les jeunes ont une vision séquentielle de leur avenir. Ils projettent de terminer leurs études, trouver un travail intéressant et suffisamment lucratif pour satisfaire leurs besoins, s’installer, avoir des enfants. Optimistes, ils expriment ce projet clairement, conscients de ce qu’il exigera d’eux en termes d’efforts et d’investissements.
