Abstract
La littérature québécoise contemporaine brouille sans cesse les frontières génériques établies par l’usage. Le présent article s’intéresse à un phénomène intergénérique particulier, celui de la transposition, à l’œuvre dans le récit Scènes d’enfants de Normand Chaurette et dans le texte dramatique Le Dernier Délire permis de Jean-Frédéric Messier. La transposition désigne ici l’intrusion de composantes génériques exogènes venant déstabiliser les traits du genre d’accueil, mais sans le dénaturer. Dans les deux textes étudiés, elle s’impose comme un principe structurant qui interfère dans le parcours narratif des personnages et engendre un va-et-vient constant entre discours fictif et réflexion critique. La transposition permet donc de montrer comment, au-delà du simple brouillage générique, se construit une visée critique et comment elle traverse l’organisation signifiante des deux textes.
